Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur
Good memory is being kept, by taking a few photos at the Petronas Twin Towers. Too bad that we didn't have time to shop at the KLCC right below the towers. It is one of the largest shopping mall in Malaysia.

Attending worship in Singapore
We are in Singapore from Nov 30 to Dec 6. While in Singapore, we attended the church service at the Harvest City Church on Sunday. The church has its service in Jurong West and Expo Hall. We attended the one in Jurong West, together with over 2500 brothers and sisters.
The Harvest City Church is the largest church in Singapore (2nd largest in Asia), which has more than 23,000 members and 600 cell groups. It is a charismatic, but I enjoy the service as I do in my more conservative traditional church in Ottawa. The worship is Rock & Roll and music is the loudest I ever observed. The Apostle's Creed was being recited after the singing.
The 55% of the attendees are under the age of 25. I am so amazed that these young people are so willing to serve God. Their welcome team are so well organized. There was one young brother named Junping who accompanied me to the auditorium and sit beside me to assist me (as a first time comer).
One thing impressed me the most is that these young people are bringing their own bibles to the church. When the pastor asked if they are bring their bible, everybody is holding up their bible and say yes. They are encouraged to read God's word and live it out. Another thing that impressed me the most is that everybody is writing notes as the pastor preach.

Apostle's Creed
I believe in God, the Father Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord:Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. The third day He arose again from the dead.He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead.I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and life everlasting.Amen.

Adobe Photoshop Elements 6 & Adobe Premiere Elements 4 Bundle
Well, well, well... our desktop computer broke down last week, but we really thank God that we manage to rescue all our precious photos out of the hard drive. Since then we have no access to the Photoshop for photo editing.
Now, we need a copy of Photoshop for our laptop, and we managed to grab a copy of Photoshop and Premiere bundle at $135 plus tax at Future Shop. It costs a bit, but it is a genuine software. I was tempted to download a copy from internet, but a simply WWJD really helps me to make the right decision.

Our trip to Wakefield
We started to fall in love with this little town when we took the 1907 built Steam Train to Wakefield in 2003 fall. It is a beautiful town located north of Ottawa, 50 minutes away from our home. Click here to see more photos of Wakefield.
Driving along Highway 5 in the fall was a thrilling experience. The scenic colorful picture along the highway is just like the one in the fairy tales. It really made my heart open and to praise God for this wonderful creation.
This time, we went to the Chamberlin's Lookout for our "afternoon tea" 30 minutes before the train arrived. It was not really "afternoon tea" for us, because I ordered a hot soup and Doreen ordered a cup of latte. This place is a great place to see the train as it is located at the 2nd floor of the supermarket next to the train station. We went out to the restaurant's balcony to see the train's coming.
Took a few hundreds of photos during the trip. Here are a few Cobcob's photos to share:

Ever wonder what kind of chemistry God added onto the Autumn colors? Click here to find out. When you arrive there, it is always a good idea to check with locals or the Info Center for the steam train's arrival time. Then you can start to tour the town. You can go to see the historical red covered bridge, or just walking along the riverside, take some photos, and do windows shopping. You can even stop by a restaurant for a cup of coffee or hot soup. Trust me, it is chilly out there and that will certainly help to warm you up. :)

Cobcob

CPR Training
Learning CPR is so important. We could be saving the life of our family member or our friend. Once the heart stops beating, every second counts. For every minute that passes without CPR, the chance of surviving of the patient drops by 10%. Usually by the time paramedic arrives, the window of opportunity has passed.
Did you know?Well, I was so determined to acquire this lifesaving skill, that I checked the CPR webpage on weekly basis, after knowing that the City of Ottawa might be offering CPR course to the public in fall. Finally, I went to attend the CPR (level C) and AED training last weekends. This is the 2nd CPR course I attended since I last attended one 10 years ago. (Opps... I supposed to renew it every 2 years.)
The American Heart Association estimates that 80 percent of cardiac arrests occur at home and that 60 percent are witnessed by other people.
Note: If you are in Ottawa, you can take the free CPR and AED Training from the ottawa.ca website. Click here.

Apple Picking
上周末我们到我们家附近郊区的苹果园摘苹果去了。在渥太华住了那么多年,才知道这苹果园离我们家才30分钟路程。

My Honda Civic is now in Collision Center
We were doing driveway sealing two Fridays ago, and I have to park our car on the street for a few nights. Well, being "not so lucky" that Friday night, a lady backed her car onto ours, and caused a big dent on the passenger door. While feeling unlucky, I am feeling lucky that the lady was kind hearted, that she left her contact information for me.
After a few phone calls to insurance company, and a trip to the collision center for repair estimate, I finally checked our car in for repair today, and it will be staying there for the rest of the week.
As a result, my insurance company will get me a rental car for a week until my car is ready to pick up. I told the car rental agent that I would like to try out Toyota Yaris, but she said the customer before me just took the last one. I ended up getting a 2007 model Toyota Corolla. I am a bit disappointed as the car doesn't even have a cassette player, it only comes with CD player. It really prompted me to miss my old 1999 Civic. Anyway, Doreen was delight to see CD player in the car. Maybe I should switch to CDs... but what should I do to my many old cassettes?
Any idea how much is the cost of the repair? Click "comment" if you wanna see answer... :)

Camping
