OMAC Annual Report

能参与年刊的编辑工作，是一种福份。 在这过程中， 我们体会到文字事工的重要。听过的道，也许会忘记；发生的事，也许会遗忘；相处的人，也许会离开我们；有了这些文字记录，能够叫我们在多年以后仍然不断回味，不住地感恩。在这过程中，我们还体会到弟兄姐妹彼此搭配，同心同力事奉的美好。从年刊的字里行间中，我们更能感到彼此相爱的含义。

今年年刊共由教会部门报告，团契小组报告，教会全年报告，见证篇，照片集等五部分组成。这里的每一篇文章和照片不仅记录了过去一年里我们教会的人和事，也记载这一年里神给我们满满的恩典。 愿它们成为我们最美好的感恩，献给爱我们的神。

愿神祝福我们的教会，带领我们的牧师、执事与同工们打那美好的仗！愿我们每一位弟兄姐妹的灵命都“如鹰上腾”， 成为神所用的贵重器皿。愿神的公义、圣洁和爱充满我们的教会。

Ski Lessons at Camp Fortune

Winter is never been easy for some people, but it is getting more interesting to me. There are so many winter activities we can do here in Ottawa. In the past, we always enjoy ice skating, tobogganing,skiing, Ottawa winterlude festival and etc.

This winter season, together with 10s of our friends, we are taking ski class together at Camp Fortune. It will be a 9 week course starting Jan 6 on every Saturday at 10:30am. I am attending level 2 class now, with hope to advance to level 3 next season. :)

dd and I bought our ski equipments together in the early summer before the pregnancy. Now, she is unable to join us. She is a great wife with a big heart. Although she is not able to ski this season, she still encourages me to go for the ski class. (To dd, thank you and I love you.)

Note: Camp Fortune is a family ski a resort, conveniently located only 15 minutes from downtown Ottawa in Canada's Capital Region.

Jacob's Movie Night - Devil's Advocate

It is Jacob cell group's movie night again. This time, we are watching the "Devil's Advocate". We really pray that we know our enemy well so that we can well equip ourselves with God's word.

Nikon 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6G Lens

It has been a long shopping for lens since I bought my D50 body. Honestly, getting serious into photography costs money, and it is not cheap. It is not an easy decision for me get started, but it is to my surprised that it is also not an easy decision to stop buying equipment.

Somehow I need to draw a clear line on the spending, what is essential and what is nice to have. After a more thorough research during the Christmas holidays, I've concluded that I will buy 2 affordable lens and an external flash. I will need a good glass suitable for a wide variety of shooting situations; from sports, action and portraits to wide-angle landscapes. I will also need a prime lens for shooting baby's portrait at home at low lighting condition. Getting an external flash seems unavoidable to shoot at night.

Finally I got my first lens for my D50. It is DX Zoom-Nikkor 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6G, which is destined to become the D80's kit lens when it was introduced in September 2006.

He is beautiful, isn't he?

He is beautiful, isn't he? We are so thankful that he is a healthy baby. This ultrasound photo was taken at his 19th week. It was Oct 30, 2006 when the ultrasound technician declared that he is not a shy boy. (He kept his legs wide open so that the technician can find out his gender). It was a very emotional day to us, very memorable day in the years to come.

It's positive!

This is the blessing and miracle in our life. It is a gift from God. After waiting for more than 4 years, going through rounds and rounds of medical testings, we finally gave up man's way and we put our trust in God.

This is the result God responded our prayers on July 20, 2006. Praise the Lord!
